How It Works
- Catalytic reaction : As water flows through the system, the catalytic media triggers a reaction with hard-water minerals.
- Mineral conversion : Calcium carbonate is converted from calcite (scale-forming) to aragonite (non-scale-forming).
- Crystal formation : Minerals turn into microscopic aragonite crystals that remain suspended in the water.
- Scale prevention : These stable crystals flow through the system instead of sticking to pipes, fixtures, and appliances. This prevents limescale buildup.
- No mineral removal : Calcium and magnesium are not removed. Only their structure is altered no salt, no ion exchange.
